Founders Diary: Successes, pitfalls and the struggle for the perfect pitch

Rather late than never, I would like to share NClip's first quarterly update with you today. In the first three months of 2024, we have experienced many exciting developments, but also mastered one of the biggest challenges: delivering a good NClip pitch.

January 2024

At the beginning of the year, we produced a "How to NClip" video aimed at content creator.

But wait. We quickly realised that the video addressed the creators' pain points rather than making it clear how NClip solves them.

For us it was really difficult to break NClip down into one sentence. If you've ever prepared a pitch for your own company, you'll know that you always have to question yourself at this stage. Who do we want to be? Who is the product aimed at? These questions were crucial to clearly define our target audience and message and ensure that we could effectively communicate our vision for the future of the creator economy.

In parallel, we created pitch decks for different target groups, including investors, content creator and brands. We are still working on it and will share our best pitch soon.

March 2024

In March, the sales website for the JOURN3YS project went online, which led to great media interest and was mentioned in various newspapers such as DIE ZEIT, FAZ and SPIEGEL.

Our first brand project with Kiddinx Media GmbH, which you probably associate with the stories about Bibi Blocksberg and Benjamin Blümchen, went very well.

With this interactive experience that goes beyond just listening, we are able to offer long-time fans of Bibi Blocksberg a new experience. They are now writing their own short audio play!

The sale of the digital covers (NFTs) went smoothly, without any bugs or major problems. There were only two support tickets from customers, which were quickly resolved.

I also had the opportunity to present the JOURN3YS project in the SNAIL SURFER Discord Call on 21 March, which met with great interest and led to talks with a brand.

Although there is no collaboration, as it would require adjustments to the NClip platform that are currently difficult to implement, such opportunities always result in valuable contacts.
